Data Engineering Services, my personal website & Mentoring Program
Mentoring
Why bother?
Let’s all face the truth, investing in your professional qualifications is one of the most lucrative and wellbeing-promoting activities out there. The best investment you can make in the 21st century is in your skills. Neither property nor crypto will be as profitable as joining the ranks of highly qualified workforce.
There is a great salary to be earned in the IT Industry, but it is that high for a good reason. You need to invest a lot of time and effort into your own skills to be able to meet the software development challenge. And as your skills grow and match market requirements … then you need to be able to sell yourself. That’s why we will look at both the soft and technical skills required to be a highly qualified software engineer, or as others would say, Senior.

My program is aimed at professionals of the IT industry. In particular, those pursuing a career in back-end software development. Especially, careers centered around Python programming and architecture implemented in AWS. It is most suitable for data engineers, data scientists and backend, cloud and devops engineers.
Tech talks I gave
I will happily accept an invite to give a tech talk. I am particularly interested in Data Engineering topics and pragmatic take on software development.
Okay, but how much does it cost?
It’s FREE! I do it as my form of volunteering. I want to be a live-long volunteer! For an atheist like me it’s the closest to having a religion.
How to make an appointment?
You can either drop me a msg on Discord. Or better still, book a meeting via 1-1 Meetings tab.
If it’s your first meeting then introduce yourself and tell me about your situation. I meet 2 people per week, always on Sunday evenings. In other words, there are 2 slots available per week, one starts at 19:00 and the other at 20:00.
How to join a group project?
3 to 4 times a year I organize group projects consiting of 10-15 developers that last 2 sprints (4 weeks) each. I always send invites a few weeks before start to:
New clients
Former participants that delivered a task in previous edition
You can read more about project variants in Group projects tab.
Once you get an invite, then fill in the Project form. It helps with allocating you the right task.
